Congress has recently made the decision to leave the EB-5 program untouched until next year at which point they will look to reform it.

Fox Rothschild's Roy Carrasquillo told GlobeSt.com that this was the most sensible action it could take.

"Given the complexity of the program and the fact that the changes suggested were fairly significant, it seemed better to leave it as is and have a longer, more thoughtful discussion with the industry about how to reform it," he said.
