Steven S. Goldenberg was featured in the NJ Spotlight article "Agency Awards Contract to Firm to Oversee State's Clean Energy Program." Full text can be found in the November 18, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

A contract has been awarded to Applied Energy Group by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) to manage the state's Clean Energy Program. The three-year, $25 million contract, which took years to award due to delays and litigation, will hopefully make awarding grants and incentives easier for the BPU.

Applied Energy Group will be tasked with "administering a program that helps residents and businesses reduce bills by cutting energy use and switching to renewable sources of energy."

"We're certainly happy it's come to fruition,'' said Steven Goldenberg, a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP who chaired the working group. "We're confident in concentrating the duties in one entity we'll get cost efficiencies.''
