ADP Survey Results Show Increase In Creation Of Franchise Jobs

According to a report released by ADP, U.S. private-sector franchise jobs increased by 33,000 during the month of September.

According to a report released by ADP, U.S. private-sector franchise jobs increased by 33,000 during the month of September. According to Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president and head of the ADP Research Institute, "franchise employment growth rebounded in September exceeding August by 50 percent." According to the report, restaurants accounted for about 75 percent of total franchise employment growth for the month hiring 25,200. That was followed by auto dealers.

The ADP National Franchise Report measures monthly changes in franchise employment derived from ADP's actual transactional payroll data. The report is produced by ADP(R) in collaboration with Moody's Analytics, Inc. and is published by the ADP Research Institute(R).
