On September 1, 2015, FERC announced that Chairman Norman Bay had named Max Minzner as general counsel to the Commission. Prior to being named general counsel, Mr. Minzner served as a staff advisor to Chairman Bay. Prior to joining FERC, Mr. Minzner was a professor at the University of New Mexico School Of Law and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Mr. Minzner is a graduate of Brown University and Yale Law School.

On September 8, 2015, FERC announced that Chief Administrative Law Judge ('ALJ") Curtis Wagner, Jr. had named Judge Carmen Cintron as Deputy Chief ALJ. As Deputy Chief ALJ, Judge Cintron will assist in the administrative and managerial duties in the Office of Administrative Law Judges and Dispute Resolution. Judge Cintron previously served as the hearing office chief of the Atlanta North Office of Hearings and Appeals for the Social Security Administration, and as an attorney for the Federal Communications Commission.
