Lannett said it inked a definitive agreement to buy Princeton, New Jersey-based Kremers Urban Pharmaceuticals Inc. for $1.23 billion in cash upfront, plus potential contingency payments, aiming to diversifying its drug pipeline with drugs for gastroesophageal reflux disease, hypertension and respiratory disease.
