In the May 18, 2015, Federal Register, FDA announced the availability of grant funds for the support of the International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use ("ICH"). The funds will support the ICH in developing a set of international guidelines for the development and registration of safe, effective, and high-quality medicine in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, preventing unnecessary duplication of clinical trials, minimizing the use of animal testing, and providing public assurance for the protection of all subjects during clinical trial.
