The GAO has released a report entitled "Medicare: Bidding Results from CMS's Durable
Medical Equipment Competitive Bidding Program," which
includes a wide variety of data on level of savings in each bidding
round, characteristics of suppliers, reasons for disqualification
of bids, and related data. The report does not include
recommendations.
