Jeff Sultanik was quoted in the Morning Call article "Whitehall-Coplay School Teachers Flood Board Meeting, Push for 'Fair Contract.'" While the full text can be found in the September 8, 2014, issue of The Morning Call, a synopsis is noted below.

More than 100 of the Whitehall-Coplay School District's 286 teachers, nurses, psychologists and guidance counselors packed the school board meeting Monday to call for a new contract that would bring them bigger paychecks.

The school board feels that what the teachers are asking is unreasonable, said Sultanik, the board's solicitor and negotiations spokesman.

Sultanik said the board is proposing a fixed raise for each member of the Whitehall-Coplay Education Association.

"So they all get raises, even though there are no salary increases," he said.

"We're concerned that negotiations are not off to a good start," Sultanik said.
