The Pocono Record

Jeffrey T. Sultanik was featured in The Pocono Record  article, "Stroudsburg School Board Approves Paying Members' Legal Fees." Full text can be found in the September 19, 2014, issue, but a synopsis is below.

The Stroudsburg Area School Board has approved paying $7,000 in attorneys' fees incurred by the board's president and vice president.

The vote to approve payment of the fees would not have passed were it not for the president and vice president being able to vote on their own legal bills.

Jeffrey Sultanik, the attorney for the school board, cited two legal decisions by the State Ethics Commission as having set the precedent to allow the president and vice president to vote on the matter.
