Name three completely unrelated things you love. Any three. Now imagine those unrelated things coming together to do something incredible (sorry, Doritos Locos Tacos are only two things). Well, that's just happened to me.

Anyone who knows me knows that the three things I have dedicated the most time to in my life are: (1) Drinking bourbon; (2) working at my law firm; and (3) getting my engineering and law degrees at the University of Louisville. Today, Maker's Mark bourbon announced a commemorative bottle to help fund the University of Louisville's Academic Center of Excellence. This is the same Academic Center of Excellence that my law firm pledged $2 million dollars to last year. The commemorative bottle features Louisville Athletic Director Tom Jurich and the logo of UofL's new conference, the ACC.

This is the same Tom Jurich posing in this picture with the Managing Member of our firm, Ken Sagan, in the Stites & Harbison Suite Level at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

So, it appears that if you mix a bunch of bourbon, Stites & Harbison, and the University of Louisville you either get me or a $14 million dollar educational facility. History will decide which is more important.
