Henry Kent-Smith was quoted in the Law360 article, "NJ Affordable Housing Rules Likely Headed Back To Court." While the full text can be found in the May 19, 2014 issue of Law360, a synopsis is noted below.

Restructuring New Jersey affordable housing rules may be headed for litigation yet again, which has led to attorneys' claims that the state Supreme Court directions conflict with necessary calculations and, therefore, reduce the number of housing units mandated in towns for lower-income residents.

Commenting on the discrepancy between these latest rules regarding calculations and the Supreme Court's mandate, Henry Kent-Smith stated, "I wish I could say it adhered more closely to the prior methodology, but unfortunately I can't."

Henry is an active member in the New Jersey Builders Association, the NewJersey General Assembly Task Force on the Fair Housing Act and the State Planning Act, and the PlanSmart NJ.
