As previously discussed in more detail here, the New York City Earned Sick Time Act is scheduled to go into effect on April 1, 2014. Employers must distribute a notice of rights under the Act to all current employees by May 1, 2014, and upon commencement of employment to all new employees hired on or after April 1, 2014.

The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs ("DCA") recently published the following Notice of Employee Rights. Also available on the DCA's website are some other guidance and FAQs for employers and employees, detailing the respective rights and obligations under the Act.
