Mark L. Silow was quoted in The Legal Intelligencer article "Firm Leaders Predicting Profit Growth in 2014, Survey Shows." While the full text can be found in the December 17, 2013, issue of The Legal Intelligencer, a synopsis is noted below.

Increasing demand and a more concentrated focus on efficient delivery of legal services should lead to higher profits in the coming year, according to a survey of Pennsylvania managing partners' confidence in the market.

Mark Silow, firmwide managing partner of Fox Rothschild, said he would agree with the survey results that things are generally improving on the demand side and that firms have become better at managing expenses in recent years. But demand growth is proving to be a region-by-region phenomenon, he noted.

"I'm not sure that the increase in demand is as much located in the Philadelphia region as it may be in other regions. But I don't think Philadelphia has slowed down, I just think other parts of the country are doing better," Silow said, noting that Fox has seen increased business in New York, Southern Florida and California in particular.
