2020 is quickly shaping up into a landmark year for immigration. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought global mobility to a standstill and created new challenges for foreign national employees and the employers who hire them. Additionally, the U.S. is currently awaiting the Supreme Court decision on the fate of the Deferred Action for Early Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

These developments are all unfurling against the backdrop of the 2020 presidential election, which could set the future of U.S. immigration. These circumstances have raised new questions for employers and global talent alike about what immigration, mobility and work might look like over the next decade.
