The UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") granted, for the first time, a Multilateral Trading Facility license to a London-based cryptocurrency exchange, Crypto Facilities Ltd. The company is a subdivision of Kraken, a San Francisco-based global digital asset exchange. According to the company, Crypto Facilities Ltd. "will be the only authorized derivatives marketplace in Europe offering leveraged trading of cryptocurrencies."
