Jeffrey T. Sultanik was quoted in The Morning Call article "Both Sides Say Teachers Strike Increasingly Possible in Saucon Valley." While the full text can be found in the August 11, 2014, issue of The Morning Call, a synopsis is noted below.

A teachers strike in the Saucon Valley School District is looking more likely after an unsuccessful meeting between the teachers union and the district.

The teachers plan to attend an upcoming school board meeting to urge the board to approve the union's three-year contract proposal. According to Sultanik, however, the board has already rejected the union's proposal and won't change its mind.

Sultanik also said that he felt as though teachers were implying they will strike if the board doesn't approve the union's proposal.

"If they go on strike it will only hurt the children," he said.
