Partners Frank Scibilia and Benjamin Semel have been recognized in the New York Law Journal's second annual New York Trailblazers. The list celebrates 'true agents of change' who have made a significant impact in their area of practice. The pair led the representation of the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) in the landmark Phonorecord III proceeding before the Copyright Royalty Board, which raised the U.S. compulsory mechanical royalty rates and terms paid to songwriters and music publishers from interactive streaming and download services through 2022.
