The #MeToo movement has spawned a new generation of apps using the latest blockchain technology to assist victims of sexual harassment at work to speak up.

Vault Platform, will enable victims of misconduct in the workplace to record incidents contemporaneously within a "private vault", which cannot be deleted or stolen. Users are notified if others in their workplace have also recorded an incident to help facilitate group reporting. Vault platform will be trialled in March 2019 and its website states that it empowers employees to feel confident to report misconduct and employers to take meaningful actions to reach a resolution.

Another app called Spot has been launched to provide a private, online platform for individuals to report incidents without having to experience face-to-face meetings at work. Using Artificial Intelligence, the app asks users open-ended, neutral questions before continuing with more specific queries. All information provided is on an anonymous basis.

Lastly, an app called Blind allows colleagues to connect and talk secretly as well as anonymously. It also includes a #MeToo section. Users can post information or seek advice on how to report incidents.

The vision in creating this space was to break down professional barriers and hierarchy although of course managers can join these apps anonymously too!
