These rules will govern how public bodies run their public contract procurement exercises and will impact on PFI/PPP projects. Draft regulation 18 introduces a new tendering procedure to be known as the competitive dialogue procedure and initial indications are that this will be the preferred procedure for OGC in relation to PPP/PFI projects.

CMS Cameron McKenna is compiling a snapshot of the industry's perceptions of the proposed regulation. The consultation period for the new procurement rules ends on 12 September, and we intend to provide the OGC with the findings of this survey, by way of evidence as to how the proposed changes will impact on the PPP/PFI business.

Please take five minutes to fill out the attached survey to ensure that your opinion is heard as part of the consultation process.
