Istanbul, Turkey, 22 September 2015 – Cargill's animal
nutrition business acquires majority stake in Ekol Gida, a leading
marketer of premixes and feed additives in Turkey.

A team of lawyers from Esin Attorney Partnership, a member firm
of Baker & McKenzie International, advised Cargill Holdings
B.V. on the acquisition of 51% of the issued share capital of Ekol
Gida Tarim Ve Hayvancilik Pazarlama Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim
Sirketi (Ekol Gida). The deal was signed on May 26, 2015 and closed
on September 4, 2015.
The deal was led by M&A Partner Duygu Turgut with support
from Associate Orcun Solak in Istanbul. The Firm's competition
team led by Zumrut Esin and Hakki Can Yildiz advised on the
competition law aspects of the deal.
