The Portuguese Industrial Property Office has announced an update to the official fees concerning all Intellectual Property procedures.

The Portuguese Industrial Property Office (INPI) has announced an update to the official fees concerning all Intellectual Property (IP) procedures.

This update applies to Trademarks, Patents, Appellation of Origin or Geographical Indication, Industrial Models and Designs and, as well as to other generic fees.

Alongside the update to the costs of IP procedures, INPI has also reintroduced the payment of granting fees for Trademarks and Logotypes and introduced fees for requests of administrative invalidity and replies against provisional refusals requesting proofs of use.
