National Sports Council (NSC) under Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs is the primary sporting regulator in Bangladesh. All sporting bodies, including BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board), BAFOFE (Bangladesh Football Federation), are regulated by the NSC. For any sports to be recognised as Sports and obtain government assistance, NSC approval is required under National Sports Council Act 1974. Did you know Bangladesh also has a government assisted Rugby organisation?
