Congratulations to principal attorney Danielle Mason Anderson, who has been elected to serve as the new Chair of Miller Canfield's Managing Directors.

Danielle's practice has a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and creditors' rights resolution with a concentration on loan enforcements, insolvency, bankruptcy and receiverships. She also does general litigation for corporate clients involving collection, loans, mortgages and defaults. She has been the Resident Director of Miller Canfield's office in Kalamazoo, Michigan, since 2014 and was elected to the Managing Directors in 2019.

"Danielle has proven to be a strategic and inclusive leader who seeks out and carefully considers diverse viewpoints and opinions," said Miller Canfield CEO Megan Norris. "She is also an outstanding ambassador and leader in the community."

In addition to her exceptional work at the firm, Anderson has played a leadership role in many Southwest Michigan civic organizations, including the Southwest Michigan First Board of Directors, the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home Foundation Board of Directors, the Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and Economic Development Committee, and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Board of Directors.
