Foley Hoag LLP has welcomed Patrick Scully as partner, further expanding the Denver office and building on the firm's strength in traditional labor law. Scully is a member of the Labor & Employment group.

Scully represents companies on labor law issues, helping his clients navigate complex claims from international and local labor unions. His work includes unfair labor practice charges and representation cases, federal and state court litigation, labor arbitration, and collective bargaining negotiations.

“Patrick is a stellar labor lawyer with a national reputation who will be able to guide our clients at the highest levels on their most transformational matters,” said Managing Partner Jim Bucking. "He has a national practice and reputation, with more than two decades of experience representing employers in Colorado and across the country. Patrick will be a tremendous asset to our group as we continue to bolster our labor and employment depth."

In addition to the opportunity to lead the labor law team in the firm’s expanding Denver office, Scully's familiarity with Foley Hoag and personal association with many of its labor and employment attorneys played a key role in his decision to join the firm.

Scully joins Foley Hoag from Sherman & Howard. He received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from University of Florida.

Since its founding in February 2023, the Denver office has been a key priority to expanding Foley Hoag’s national footprint in the country’s western region. Most recently, the firm announced the expansion of its Emerging Company & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice group with a new team of fours attorneys in Denver.
