Last 29 August, the Agency for Security, Energy and Environment (ASEA for its acronym in Spanish), launched its digital services platform, denominated Electronic Filing Office (OPE for its acronym in Spanish), a tool designed to facilitate the filing and following-up of certain procedures for the Regulated Parties of the Hydrocarbon Sector, in a remote way and without the need of presenting hard copies.

For now, Regulated Parties will be able to file for the following procedures by means of the OPE:

  1. Record as generators of hazardous wastes for activities of the hydrocarbon sector.
  2. Record of the Administration System of the Regulated Party.
  3. Record and Authorization of the Administration System for activities of public sale of natural gas, L.P. gas and oils.
  4. Record of the Conformation of the Administration System for activities of distribution of L.P. gas and oils.
  5. Authorization for the Implementation of the Administration System for activities of distribution of L.P. gas and oils.
  6. Modification to the Authorization of the Administration System for activities of public sale of natural gas, distribution and public sale of L.P. gas and oils.
