Mexico: ¿Luchando por mantener el control sobre sus proveedores de nómina? No está solo

La administración de proveedores es un problema que se está disparando para los equipos de nómina. Actualmente, es el segundo reto más apremiante para los profesionales de nómina en todo el mundo.

Más de un tercio de los entrevistados en nuestra última investigación con la Asociación Global de Nómina (GPA) creen que la administración de proveedores es uno de los retos más significativos que enfrentan, y parece estar convirtiéndose en un reto mayor para las organizaciones a medida que continúan la expansión internacional.

"Uno de los beneficios clave que las empresas esperan que sus proveedores ofrezcan es el conocimiento local y capacidades de idioma local", dice Darren Beal, Director del Portfolio de Recursos Humanos y de Nómina de TMF Group. "Pero con demasiada frecuencia, su proveedor externo de recursos humanos y nómina opera desde un centro de servicio global. Sí, es posible que ofrezcan una persona de contacto como gerente de cuenta, pero esa persona no tiene necesariamente experiencia en materia de nómina local y capacidad del idioma de cada uno de los países. Estas personas interactúan regularmente con proveedores externos para responder consultas, pero si el mensaje cambia debido a un malentendido, la respuesta verdadera es a menudo mal interpretada, lo que causa frustración al cliente."

Contactos Inaccesibles

Uno de los problemas más comunes identificados fue que los gerentes de cuenta no son tan accesibles como deberían. Problemas de Coordinación

La contratación de un proveedor local para cada país hace que el intercambio de conocimientos y la coordinación de tareas en las distintas geografías sea complejo y tome mucho tiempo. Los diferentes proveedores ofrecerán diferentes niveles de servicio y producción, sin indicadores de rendimiento clave comunes. Esto causa problemas desde una perspectiva central de informes, y significa que no hay un panorama único del procesamiento global de nómina. La falta de coordinación para las tareas negociadas en contratos múltiples fue otro tema destacado en la encuesta mundial de nómina.

La contratación local individual puede proveer una solución económica en cada país, pero significa negociar y administrar diferentes acuerdos y niveles de servicio. La carga administrativa puede ser pesada, y las empresas pueden tener que establecer un departamento interno para controlar a numerosos proveedores en el país, verificando constantemente que estén actualizados con la legislación y las reglamentaciones locales.
