El 29 de agosto de 2017, se publicó en el Diario Oficial
de la Federación, el Título de Concesión que
otorga la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito
Público, en favor de Bolsa Institucional de Valores, S.A. de
C.V. (BIVA). BIVA será la segunda bolsa de valores mexicana
y la primera competencia directa en 42 años a la Bolsa
Mexicana de Valores, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV). Se estima que BIVA
comience operaciones en 2018, y con el fin de impulsar los mercados
de valores, su enfoque principalmente serán las empresas de
mediano tamaño, a diferencia de la BMV que su enfoque son
las empresas grandes y multinacionales.
