On 2 January 2020, CONSOB published its final report on initial
coin offerings and cryptoassets exchanges. It contains the
authority's feedback to the comments stakeholders submitted
during the public consultation CONSOB had launched in relation to
various points, including, criteria for identifying cryptoassets,
the issuance and trading platforms, exchange facilities and the
custody and transfer of cryptoassets.
