On 27 October 2016, Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. ("ISS") issued a consultation paper titled "US Policy – General Share Issuance Mandates for Cross – Market Companies" (the "Consultation Paper") as part of the ISS draft 2017 policy updates. ISS requested feedback on the proposed changes set out in the Consultation Paper.

As Irish legal counsel to the majority of the Irish incorporated public companies solely listed on a U.S. stock exchange, to whom the Consultation Paper is particularly relevant, Arthur Cox engaged with, and made a submission to ISS on 10 November 2016 (on behalf of its clients).
