Milbank has advised a leading global alternative asset manager
on its multi-jurisdictional special situations platform investment
with another leading global fund and a local expert management
team. The platform will focus on investment in oil exploration and
production assets in India. The transaction involved complex cross
border regulatory and structuring issues, including associated
financing and joint venture arrangements in Singapore, the Cayman
Islands and India.
The team was led by Nicole Stephansen, Sarah Ullathorne and
Sinjini Saha. The team also included associates Cormac Kerins, Elin
Gosby, Henry Ellis and law clerk Navine Hussain.
