On 18 April 2019, the Hong Kong Lands Department issued its latest practice note as part of the Government's reactivation of the revitalisation scheme for industrial buildings, commonly known as "Revitalisation Scheme 2.0".

This article introduces the background of this revitalisation scheme, tracks its implementation by Government authorities through a chronicle of practice notes since the announcement of its reactivation in the 2018 Policy Address and provides our observations on the development.
