The New Zealand government have announced:

  • the lifting/waiving of self-isolation requirements for vaccinated travellers entering New Zealand from 11:59pm, Wednesday 2 March. All eligible and vaccinated travellers will be able to enter New Zealand without the need to self-isolate.
  • the moving forward of Step 2 of the border opening from 11:59pm Sunday 13 March 2022 to 11:59pm Friday 4 March 2022.
  • that they will review the timings of the remaining steps to open New Zealand's border in the coming weeks.
