There are no requirements for the public filing of trust deeds or trust accounts or for trusts to be registered. For additional confidentiality a declaration of trust may be used instead of a more usual trust deed. A declaration of trust is made solely by the trustee receiving the assets and is otherwise identical to a deed but for the fact that the settlor is not a party to it and his name does not appear on it.
