J&H Marsh McLennan were the leading captive manager for new business growth in Guernsey during the 1st Quarter of 1997 according to the latest official figures from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

Of the seven new Guernsey insurance companies registered in the first three months of 1997, four were clients of the new J&H Marsh & McLennan operations in Guernsey.

Previously trading as UNISON Management (Guernsey) Ltd. and Marsh & McLennan Management Services (Guernsey) Ltd., the two companies will be merging during 1997 as part of the strategic business combination of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and Johnson & Higgins which was finalised on 27th March 1997. The new group, to be known as J&H Marsh & McLennan, Inc., will be formed to manage the combined insurance services operations and will operate as a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies.
