Aztec Group has been recognised as fund administrator of the year at the 2015 British Private Equity Awards.

The awards, which took place earlier in October, celebrate innovation and excellence in the industry, recognising commercial professionalism, innovative expertise and contribution to building British businesses.

Shortlisted alongside Augentius and Langham Hall in the Fund Advisory Firm of the Year: Administration category, Aztec Group was able to demonstrate its ability to provide offshore and onshore outsourcing solutions delivered by experienced client-centric teams, which utilise leading technology carefully developed to address the needs of private equity fund managers.

Alan Ross, Head of Private Equity Fund Services, said: "We are delighted that our efforts to lead the way in fund and corporate services have been recognised not only by our clients and business contacts but also by the wider industry. Our exceptional growth, unrivalled retention rates and industry recognition has always been down to the passion and determination of our teams. We are committed to supporting the British private equity industry by getting to know our clients and delivering a service which adds value to their operations."

In the past year, Aztec Group has formalised a four product outsourcing proposition which delivers a comprehensive range of leading services, comprising fund, corporate, advanced portfolio and depositary services. In addition, it has supported existing clients through numerous fund launches and opened new offices in the Netherlands and Sweden. The Group has also migrated multiple funds and supported new start-ups across all six of its onshore and offshore jurisdictions, while continuing to strengthen its 10 years' eFront expertise by building an in-house team of financial systems specialists.
