The Commission has been interested to learn of the launch of a new quarterly glossy magazine entitled Guernsey International a substantial portion of which will contain news, articles and opinions about the Island as an international finance centre.
Target Publications, of Jersey, producers of the quarterly, glossy magazine Jersey International are behind the venture through their Guernsey subsidiary, Channel Islands Media Services, of Delta House, Cornet Street, St Peter Port.
Magazine editor, Guernsey-born Peter Body, says: 'We originally considered including a Guernsey section in Jersey International but decided it would be better for all concerned to publish a totally separate Guernsey International magazine with a circulation of 20,000 copies, largely overseas.'
