The Commission's newest recruit is Diane Potter who is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Diane, who came to Guernsey from the United Kingdom, previously worked in the Compliance Department of Guardian Financial Services, part of the GRE group.
Her qualifications and expertise ensured that after only three months at the Financial Services Commission she was promoted to Senior Analyst, deputising for Steve Butterworth in his absence.
As well as overseeing the supervision of the captive sector, Diane also brings a dynamic approach to the formation of new legislation and is currently involved in discussions with the rest of the Guernsey insurance industry regarding proposals to supervise the activities of insurance intermediaries.
