Overview
On 28 Feb. 2022, the government of Qatar updated its travel and return measures. The government will now classify country risk levels by the following categories:
- Standard Health measures
- Red-List Health Measures
The government also reduced testing requirements so that foreign national travelers entering the country from a region subject to the standard health measures will be required to provide a negative PCR test within 48 hours prior to departure.
Citizens and residents of Qatar will not be required to undergo testing prior to entering the country.
Travelers arriving from a Red-List country or region may be subject to additional entrance requirements. For more information, click here.
What are the Changes?
The government of Qatar updated its entrance requirements so that foreign national travelers must provide proof of a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure. Citizens and residents of Qatar will not be required to produce a COVID-19 test taken prior to arrival.
