On July 4, two French Members of Parliament issued a
parliamentary report on cyber defense (source document in
French). The members stated the resources dedicated to cyber
defense were insufficient and that French legal tools to protect IT
systems and data sovereignty were defective. The members called for
new legislation to address these concerns.
