The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus announced the call for participation in the Business Clinics Program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) The program, designed for enterprises with less than two years of activity demonstrating applicable ideas and a business plan, aims to provide support and guidance for their business growth and viability.

The program, intended to support 30 new companies, will provide each of them with up to 32 hours of individual coaching from experts either from Cyprus or abroad, free of charge. These experts have been selected after careful assessment to help new businesses in strategic planning, marketing, operational and financial management issues.

The Business Clinics Program is being offered under the “ASB” program, implemented by the EBRD, on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It helps small and medium-sized Cypriot companies enhance their growth potential and competitiveness. As the participating companies evolve, they will be given access to grants to acquire business advisory services and potential funding opportunities.

Interested enterprises will be approved based on a "first applied – first approved" approach if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria. The deadline for applications meeting the criteria is on 17 May 2019.
