The Cyprus Tax Department has announced that it has completed implementation of the electronic registration system in the online TAXISnet service for electronic submission of VAT returns and the VIES summary table.
Taxpayers are recommended to use the online system in order to save time and avoid delays. The Tax Department intends to propose amending the VAT legislation so as to require all returns to be submitted online in the near future, and to withdraw facilities for submitting paper returns.
