During February 2016 a number of changes to the Aliens and
Immigration Law (Cap.105) took effect, including changes to the
"fast-track" procedure for applications for permanent
residence permits by non-EU nationals. For holders of permanent
residence permits and new applicants under the fast track
procedure, the parents of both applicant and spouse are now also
eligible to apply, subject to minimum income conditions being
met.
