Competition Enforcement Bureau Of SAIC Holds A Panel Discussion With U.S. IPO

Both parties intended to enhance communication and cooperation, in order to jointly assist enterprises in the U.S. to obtain a full knowledge of Chinese competition law and therefore abide by it.

On 3 November 2015, Head of Anti‐Monopoly and Anti‐Unfair Competition Bureau ("Competition Enforcement Bureau") under State Administration for Industry & Commerce ("SAIC") met a delegation led by Philip Johnson, President of U.S. Intellectual Property Owners Association ("IPO"), and exchanged opinions on status and issues regarding the Provisions on Prohibiting the Abuse of Intellectual Property Rights to Eliminate or Restrict Competition issued by SAIC in 2015. Both parties intended to enhance communication and cooperation, in order to jointly assist enterprises in the U.S. to obtain a full knowledge of Chinese competition law and therefore abide by it.
