NDRC convened a press conference on October 15 to publish the macroeconomic operation data and respond to the hot issues. The Secretary General of the NDRC Mr. Li Pumin attended the press conference and answered relevant questions on antitrust work. Mr. Li said that anti-price monopoly is one of important functions of the NDRC. The work achievement the NDRC made to date in 2015 has effectively safeguarded the fair competition of market environment and protected the legitimate interest of consumers. The NDRC, together with the provincial price supervision bureaus, has investigated 10 antitrust cases and sanctioned RMB 6.605 billion in this year. Meanwhile, 3 cases for abuse of administrative power to eliminate and restrict competition were investigated and published.
