July 8, 2019 – Canada has updated the list of occupations targeted through Category B of the Global Talent Stream.

Computer network technicians (NOC 2281) have been added to the list, while engineering managers (NOC 0211) and architecture and science managers (NOC 0212) have been removed.

Wage floors have also been updated, with the changes effective July 2019.

A federal government statement said: "Effective July 2019, the Global Talent Occupations List has been updated to ensure it continues to reflect the Canadian labour market and the needs of innovative companies."

Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) says applications for occupations removed from the list will be accepted until August 4, 2019.
