May 31, 2019 - – Nova Scotia immigration has announced the launch of a new Occupations in Demand Pilot to target intermediate-skilled jobs in high demand in the province.

May 30, 2019 – Nova Scotia immigration has announced the launch of a new Occupations in Demand Pilot to target intermediate-skilled jobs in high demand in the province.

The pilot, launched on Thursday, May 30, will initially target nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates (NOC 3413) and transport truck drivers (NOC 7511).

Occupations in Demand will operate for an initial three years with the target occupations subject to change depending on labour market demand.

It will specifically target jobs under National Occupational Classification (NOC) C.
