Dental Care
The party intends to spend $98 million annually to provide dental care to low-income seniors by increasing funding for dental care in under-serviced areas, and establishing more mobile dental buses to serve remote communities. A single senior with an income of $19,300 or less, or a couple with a combined income of $32,300 or less will be eligible.
Long-Term Care
The party intends to increase the number of long-term care beds, with 15,000 new beds over the next five years, and 30,000 new beds over the next decade.
Mental Health & Addiction
The party intends to spend $1.9 billion over the next 10 years on mental health and addiction support, with costs shared between the provincial and federal governments.
Hospitals
The party intends to implement policies to reduce hospital overcrowding and improve wait times for care. To encourage more doctors to move to northern Ontario, the party has stated it intends to reduce doctors' provincial taxes down to as low as zero per cent.
The party intends to increase autism funding to $100 million in the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
