Jan 23, 2018 – Alberta has received a small increase in its federal government allocation for 2018 under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

The province's 2018 allocation has risen to 5,600, after it reached its threshold of 5,500 immigrants for 2017.

The rise comes after the federal government three-year immigration levels plan forecasted managed increases for provincial nomination programs, up to a total allocation of nearly 68,000 by 2020.
