The York Entrepreneurship Development Institute ("YEDI"), an incubator and accelerator associated with York University, is now taking applications from early-stage startups for its four-month program. YEDI offers a number of program streams for various types of startups, including an "International Start-Up" stream for foreign entrepreneurs, and notably caters to not-for-profits and social enterprises, alongside for-profit ventures. YEDI prides itself on its eclectic roster of participants and a robust approach to mentorship and commercialization, and has graduated over 100 startups since its inception.
