January 25, 2017 – Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,508 people to apply for Permanent Residence to Canada through Express Entry. 174 more invitations were issued today compared to the last draw on January 11, 2017. This round has surpassed all previous draws and is the largest number of invitations ever pulled since the program began on January 31st, 2015. The lowest qualifying score was 453, a drop of 6 points from the last round which allowed for more candidates to be accepted.
